Beihang University highly values global engagement for its overall development. With its "UPS" international strategy, Beihang vigorously promotes international cooperation at three levels: university to university, professor to professor, and student to student. Beihang has over 240 partners around the world, and it is an active member of 18 prestigious university alliances and consortium. The two decades of fruitful collaboration with French institutions have culminated in the establishment of the Sino-French Engineer School, the Zhongfa Aviation Institute, and Beihang INSA Institute for Applied Sustainable Sciences and Technology, gaining widespread recognition as exemplars of international educational partnerships.

Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan

Beihang University attaches great importance to communication and cooperation with universities in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Over the years, it has established university-level partnerships with 18 prestigious universities in these regions, carrying out extensive cooperation in discipline co-construction, scientific research, faculty and student exchanges, double degree programs, and the establishment of joint research centers.

    The concept of "Beihang Global Campus" was born out of a wish to bring our students a rich variety of study opportunities offered by a globalized world. Beihang University established Yuanhang Project to promote students to study abroad. It incorporates events and programs both at home and abroad, including student exchange, double degree programs, and short-term/summer programs. To encourage and support Beihang students in "going global," the university has also established Yuanhang Sholarship to assist students in participating in various international learning programs.
